Google's Summer of Code

Gaim has been invited to participate in Google's Summer of Code project which aims to team aspiring students with experienced open-source developers. The students learn the ropes of open-source development under the mentorship of the experienced developers and at the end of the summer are given $4500 for their troubles. The Gaim developers are proud to sponsor students in this program. We have created a brief list of possible projects we'd like to help students complete this summer, but you are free to suggest anything you want! Apply at the Summer of Code webpage. Applications must be in by June 14th.
